Get your best peopleback to the work thatgrows the company.

I map how work really moves through your company and rebuild the slow parts with AI, so your people spend their week on the work only they can do.

Where I usually come in

We doubled, and every decision still goes through the founder.

As COO of a funded startup, I set company-wide goals, hired a head of people operations, and grew the team from 10 to over 20 in six months.

We've grown, but the way we work hasn't caught up.

I map how work actually moves before changing anything, so everyone can see where it gets stuck and agree on what to change first.

Good people spend their week on work a system should be doing.

I find where the hours go, redesign the work, and automate what's left, keeping a person on the decisions that matter. Sometimes the right call is to leave something alone, like a 4,100-person database import we chose not to do.

We bought AI tools, and nobody really uses them.

I start from the work instead of the tool, build with the people who will use it, and train them until it's part of their week. If a tool isn't earning its place, I'll say so.

How it works

  1. 1

I learn how your company really runs. For the first few weeks I follow real work from start to finish and map who talks to whom and where information gets stuck.

  2. 2

We pick what's worth changing. You get a short list of the bottlenecks that cost the most time, the ones AI can take on, and the ones I'd leave exactly as they are.

  3. 3

I build the tools with your team. Research and data entry move to AI tools your people use every day, so their week goes to the parts of the job that need a person.

  4. 4

Your team takes it over. Everything is documented and your people are trained to run it, so it keeps working whether I'm in the room or not.

A note from me

When I was COO at a startup that went from 10 to more than 20 people in six months, the company outgrew the way we worked faster than I could hire. The people I'd brought on for their judgment were spending their weeks chasing updates and retyping things.

I've seen the same pattern since, from early-stage startups and Series B scaleups to small businesses and non-profits. Most of the drag sits in how work moves between people, and lately I've been helping these organizations hand a lot of it to AI. It works when someone maps the work first and the team owns what gets built.

That's the work I do now. I join your team, build the tools myself, and stay until your people can run them without me.

What it costs
From CAD 10K a month

I work with a small number of companies at a time so I can be inside the work. We start with three months, then go month to month.

If the first month doesn't produce something your team uses, you can stop.

Pick a time and tell me what's slowing the team down. By the end of the call you'll know where I'd start, whether or not we work together.
